Wave of Hope is a non-profit, registered association and a partner of World Radio HCJB (“The Voice of the Andes”). HCJB was founded in 1931 in Quito, Ecuador. In 1941 the first Russian programme was broadcast. HCJB is the first Christian radio station in the world.

What we do

We produce radio programmes in Russian and additionally broadcast Chechen programmes. In our studio we prepare half an hour programmes for four days. The programmes are aired daily at 18:00-18:30 on 31 m 9805 kHz (shortwave).

What we want

With our ministry we want to give glory to our Lord Jesus Christ and make Him known around the globe. Radio waves are a wonderful medium to spread the good news of Jesus Christ and to reach even far, remote areas of the world. Sick and lonely people depend on this kind of ministry especially. People who withdraw from society, politicians or atheists can listen to the Gospel in a private atmosphere.
